Future
What is my wishes and desires for the future, in the context of this education? What would a good next step be?

Magi 2 course and then bachelors degree…
I really would do Magi 2!
I know something about the Magic 2 -course and it sounds really interesting and good!
To become it bigger. Or, at least, to keep It the way it was.
The best next step would be another program at Doch.
Otherwise, maybe a more ‘hands-off’ approach with remote assignments / readings, maybe in partnership with the Conjuring Arts Research Center ?
I’d like to attend a much longer course of the same kind.
Maby a longer course.
For me the summer is the best time 🙂
I think a longer course would be awesome. More breathing space with the possibility to absorb the theories a bit more and maybe twice the time to work on stuff. Make it happen and I’ll be the first in line to sign up for class!
Absolutely a longer education
Im currently working on setting up my own show.
Ideas and thoughts who has come to me from the course and the people that I have get to known through the course is a part of that.
Magic 2
In many ways I feel this course was one of the main parts in me now deciding to pursue magic as a professional performer and at the same time devote some time to the psychological aspects of the craft. Furthermore, I have become aware of the health benefits of practicing magic. Finally, the encouragement to start doing semi-regular public shows was what pushed me to develop my own semi-regular magic concept “Magi og kaffe” last year.
I have already become more confident in presenting proper “pieces” for my audience, even when performing at corporate functions, and by that having faith in my material and myself as a performer. I hope to continue being able to actually present a proper show/performance and not just tricks for my audience, even if the audience isn’t there primarily to see magic (as is the case with corporate events). Interestingly, I also note that I now get better reactions, so it just proves that what we were taught was right!
For me, my next steps are two-fold: I’m working on doing a full-evening magic show next year, and will also be setting up a magic camp for children with autism spectrum disorders. Finally, I have teamed up with a TV company to start work on a web-series where the focus will be on good magic. A lot of this, I feel come from the course, both in terms of inspiration and discussion (magic and health and ASD), encouragements, learning to work with a team, and most importantly: making really good, unique, and fitting material!
