Bonus
I have found unexpected bonus value beyond the stated learning objectives.
1: I do not agree at all / 10: I agree completely

Get to know other magicians from around Europe was a big bonus, the opportunity to work on non-university related magic projects in the workshop was another, and watch others shows in the Magic Bar another one.
I did everything in the course to the full and the last. I tried to absorb everything from the lectures. Some days stretched for up to 14 hours when I worked on my projects until midnight.
I feel like I did not know how hard it really was to be a professional magician before the course. Now I practice better and more efficiently. Think the course raise my motivation, work ethic and passion to magic!
Being able to imagine an effect, and create it “from scratch” (not only from a theme).
I have used a lot from what I learned in real life and made friendships and ongoing productive collaborations that will last a lifetime.
For me this course is a dream come true. Bonus value everywhere.
The small TED Talk style lectures from every student on their chosen subject was super interesting and the whole course would have been worth the time just for our collected knowledge on these various subjects. And also friendships for life that have personally led to a successful professional partnership.
The biggest takeaway for me was the general discussions happening after and out of the classroom as a result of the classes. To be a part of a group who contained people interested in the subject of magic and wanting to discuss all aspects off it in a way you dont get at magic conferences. This is because that during the semester we all were in a special learning state of mind.
Of course!
– Exchange ideas with other magicians
– Develop a strong network among magicians
– Continously trying to get off the beaten track
– Get to know a new (magical) culture
Where to begin?
– the experience of working in creative teams, and then doing that at home
– reflections regarding magic and health
– a network consisting of people with whom a share a language and way of thinking
– practical ways for getting into a “creative mode” (though, this is of course in part the learning objective)
