Yes, I got so much more ideas and so many points of view than I expected. And I learned a lot form Peter about acting and directing. I learned a lot by just watching him give direction to other acts. I feel that this could be a good idea to give more emphasis based on his knowledge in these fields.

One of the reasons why I signed up for this course is to meet and make new friends. It has been very rewarding to meet and get to know new people and share ideas and magic.
The part where we help each other wit our acts was very valuable. It is clear that you cant know, see and do everything yourself. You need help and we helped each other a lot.

You can never predict the amount, the quality, and the variety of insight you can get from the other group members, and the discussions fostered a really positive and open atmosphere that made all contributions welcome and easy to exchange.
As I was not expecting to be focusing on my character another bonus thing occurred in my work something we’ve discussed but I’ve never really had the opportunity to apply. As we were staying true to our characters and stories and making conscious decisions to only introduce things that add to our plots, I realised for the sneaky stuff to happen I did not need to build a deceptive way of “ditching” a prop for example. By just repeating my characters movements a few times and observing all items I already had on stage I was able to see when and where I could ditch and pick up a load which required no extra effort as they both could be done in the action already taking place. No extra unnecessary movements were required. I will now be trying to apply this to all my work.
The most important value for me, is to work together with other magicians.
The pyrotechnic lecture was great. I also got good insights from the other participants in the course who had good ideas and feedback. It was not so much a part of the course but a result of interacting with people with a lot of experience.
En trevlig bieffekt var förstås de många nya och trevliga bekantskaperna.
Eftersom att detta inte är mitt första besök i Sigtuna/ conjuring så är bonusen inte känner oväntat bonus men likväl välkommen. Det som kan räknas som bonus är omgivningen med bad och bastu, bra lokaler, fantastiskt personal och mycket och god mat och mat i rättan tid
