How much time do you think you spent, totally, on the course (lesson, tasks, on your own…)
More or less than what was indicated by the course plan?
I barely had a time to sleep, didn’t want to miss anything. Inspiring conversations, other magicians sharing their knowledge, working on some ideas, watching performances, discussing the improv we did earlier.
I took a break in the penultimate night, but I joined everything else.
Since we a driven by passion I think the work lives on even when the day and course is over
I spent more than what was indicated in the coruse plan as such, but in the instructions there was also a suggestion there would be learning opportunities outside of the course plan. So in a sense, that what part of the course plan.
I talked magic and just wrote my own ideas down all night. It truly was a magical week!
I felt I spent a lot of time on the course, partially because I wanted to fully immerse myself into this thinking and experience. I spent a lot of the evening further working, practicing and reviewing things taught.
I think the learning happened almost 24/7. During free time we had such great conversations with others that I learned maybe at least as much during that time than during the course! I actually got pretty excited and formed a totally new, actually quite long, routine during the last night at free time. I think I will use that in some form in the future. So all in all, I got way more work done with my magic in a week than maybe in a typical year.
At one point I even went back to my room in the evening and rehearsed some magic.
I feel this time in the further conjuring our discussions even during fika were entirely focused on magic and performance. I noticed that much much more.
From 9-6 we were definitely “in full swing,” with little time for anything other than our classwork. The evenings varied a bit-with lectures or personal training, till roughly 8:30PM. I suppose some more of the later evening time could have been dedicated to training/learning, and sometimes it was, while other times we were just socializing. I probably should’ve been performing more magic during those times, but that’s on me. I also made sure to walk 70-90 minutes in the evening, so, I suppose I missed out on some opportunities due to exercise.
Det var bara sista uppgiften som jag tränade på ensam och till och med då fanns stöd från andra. Jag vet inte vad jag hade väntat mig. Jag bara dök upp.
The course felt very full. I was very tired by the end of each day.
The only way that I feel that I could have reasonably spent more time would be for the duration of the course could be lengthened. I am grateful that the course was as long as it was, but I would love it if the course were even longer.
It was magic from I woke up until I went to bed. Usually some hours after midnight, and I loved it. I like the “free time” a lot. It almost felt like it was to little “free time”
But also some training by myself in my room.
använde i stort set all vaken tid till det med både tanke, övning och diskusioner. (drömde även om trolleri)
I pretty much breathed magic throughout the course…
It happened, that the lessons were a bit longer than what was indicated in the course plan. But I think noone did mind that at all. Also the course did not stop for me, it happened all week. We were discussing the things we learned during lunch, fika, and after dinner as well. To be honest I could not really sleep well during the course – I woke up 4-5 times each night because ideas just kept coming to me about what we learned and how I can implement them in my work, and I woke up to write them down.
