What would you say to someone who is hesitant to sign up for this workshop?
Comments
I would say if it works for your schedule to do it and to prioritize it.
Just do it.
And be surprised.
If you have the money for it, do it!
This course was an eye opening experience and it will give you so much more than any magic convention. Not tricks, but something more important. How to make your magic better and well; how to make your magic magic.
If you attend to this course with an open mind you will go back home with new perspective and so many new friends!
Thank you so much, this was truly a life changing experience!
Do it, you’ll only know what you would have missed out on if you didn’t see it for yourself. It’s impossible to explain this to someone who hasn’t had the experience themselves.
Thank you for everything!
I hope I put all my ideas and comments on the preceding pages. I would like to be involved in curriculum development and possibly the development of course objectives.
How I would respond to someone who was hesitant to attend would depend on the hesitancy. If it were financial, I would suggest checking with you to determine if there was a grant available, or stipend for a qualified candidate.
If it were from fear of your greatness, I would assure them that there is nothing to fear.
I would say just sign up, you wont be sorry! It’s amazing!
Have the GUTS.
I would say to anyone who hesitated to sign up, I hummed and hawed about going and only got my place 9 days before the event as someone dropped out, its one of the best “on the spur of the moment” events I have ever undertaken. The experience was incredible, I am a better magician for going and my audience will have a more magical experience as a result. You should only regret things that you have done not those you haven’t, if you don’t go it will be a undone regret!
Depends. If it’s someone who loves magic and lives it, definitely. At the same time, I feel like wanting to keep it, selfishly, as a secret.
I would warmly encourage all magicians to attend the course. It is a unique opportunity in the magic world.
I think this course is for those who want to actively make some changes to themselves.
I have some friends asked me about the course after. I would definitely recommend to some of them, and for those who wants to learn rare secrets or tricks maybe not so much.
The writing bit would be great. My wish is to attend next year!
If you have time, GO!
Thanks again!
I came in looking to learn misdirection concepts and I came away with a life changing perspective shift about magic. After several hundred shows this year I was stuck in my own thinking and I did not
know it. This class forced me to rethink everything and get to the next level. My shows since coming home from Sweden have improved dramatically.
It will change your view on the magic and you will make a lot of new friends go ahead and try it.
Do it! Your life, yourself nor your magic will never be the same. If you’re scared of that, don’t sign up! Btw, you’re stupid if you don’t!
Thank you Leif, Tom, Håkan AND TIM! Especially Tim! His prop building workshop was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. A living legend and a hero of mine. Tim is a must for next year!
I can´t recommend it more! Thank you and see you next year!
To pass on a course like this, is to pass on a whole development of yourself and your mind. Not just magic-wise, but you as an individual. You learn a great deal about your own thinking and your own approach, but also of others. And most importantly, you learn how to make it all function in symbiosis with others.
Had a fantastic time. The course is like an island in the sun. A real retreat from the real world. It’s the people that make it special.
And a lot of magical wisdom is there! Also about performance, craft and life in general.
Thanks to all the organizers!
I can highly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in improving their magical performance skills!
I always try to say to my magic friends, just to go this course.
– You need more than just new magic tricks.
Come on! I would talk their heads over to sign up immediately.
I think this educations is the best one you can have to boost your creativity and to become a better magician and performer.
I would say that I don’t know any other magic course/workshop which offers so much – if you are a beginner or a world champion.
I’m looking so much forward for Conjuring C next year! (And I sincerely hope that this year’s Conjuring C guys will be there as well!)
Don’t hesitate! You don’t have the time.
It will be a significant turning point in your magic journey. You can also share what you learn with other magicians at your club, society, etc. in your country.
I myself was hesitant to attend a second time. The course A experience was so good that I could not think that it could get any better than that, what more could I learn? Also, magic was again a smaller part of my life this year, so why would I embarrass myself in front of those superior performers or professionals? I think was a fool though. Now that I have attended, I am happier as a person, have more general confidence, I know a lot more about routine construction and performance, and magic is much more of a passion for me again. At least for me, ignoring my doubts was (once again!) a life changing decision.
Do it! Det är en sådan tillåtande miljö och du kan utveckla precis det du önskar. Generositeten och kunskapen som lärarna bjuder på är otroligt sällsynt och unikt!
Life is too short to miss it.
There is nothing to hesitate about. Sign up! The number of people that returns says it all.
The food is basically worth the whole price, so even thought you wouldn’t like the course, you won’t lose anything. But anyhow the content of the course is really good + the magical company
I just wanted to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your time and dedication to making these courses available to us magicians yearly. These courses help to not only develop magic to become an art form but also build a community of likeminded people whom wish to further not only their personal goals and dreams but help others achieve theirs too.
These Conjuring Courses have literally changed my life. I’m more confident, aware of my strengths and weaknesses and have the ability through the exercises on the course to take home the lessons and work on these tools myself as a magician, performer and person. I don’t believe there is anything in magic that exists like this in the world. And I hope that it can continue. For me but also for others.
I understand this is a lot of work and cost a lot of money. I can only bow and give a lot of thanks to the group.
Jag försöker alltid få kollegor att gå kurserna inte för att lära sig nya trick utan för att utveckla trollerit till sitt eget och våga skapa.
Åk dit! Det är bra för hela din person.
I think it would be useful to have a segment on pyrotechnics since a lot of people use some kind of flash product. It is a good idea to actually know how to handle them safley and what to do if something bad happens. This is not so much about the artistic side of performing as the practical side but quite important all the same.
Maybe one could have something about scripting. How to choose your words, how to use metaphores, alliterations etc. And is it possible to script something and still have it appear to be real.
