Course Design
The planning of the course (lessons, extra lectures, workshops, your own time) was relevant to the stated contents of the course.

Yes. Because there were only three of us in attendance for this course, Tom had to get creative at times. When there are more people, there are more questions/things like workshops need more time. Tom did a great job working with all of us, fielding our questions, and getting his points across.
My only wish was that the course was longer.
Each lesson built upon the last. All the lessons added up in the end to a creative and analytical toolbox for making and improving performances.
I thought the first two days were very well structured and spoke directly to the objectives. The third day did as well, but I think a bit more structure to the third day would have been even better. At times I felt we were left a little bit too long – a bit more creative input from Tom would have made the morning even better.
A good balance of lecture, workshops and feedback. I would have liked to have received a handout or some notes to compliment the course so to keep as a memento.
The content of the course *was* what I was expecting from the description I read in advance, and I was clear what I needed to prepare in advance and bring with me.
The 3-day workshop was a build in such a way that helped me to apply the content to my own work. The fundamentals of magic, misdirection and the group feedback worked perfectly.
To little time feedback after assignments, and I felt we where 4people following the time schedule of a 12people course, as in analyzing time 12people is 5min per group and with 4people it could be more.
Very relevant within the borders of a Magic convention.
I have little to say on this. It all flowed nicely, and every evening we had just enough time to process what we learned before the next day.
I think everything we did had a good connection with what we did at the end of the course.
The way the course was designed was good as it built up over the 3 days. It’s started at a place where everyone even if they were nervous they could participate without expectation. There was no pressure. But with every task you felt the skill level increase and as you became more comfortable with each challenge and each other the challenges became more fun. You really felt by the end of the 3 days that you had achieved something because of the process and the order of the tasks.
