Workload
The workload and study pace during the course was reasonable.

The course was on par with college courses I’ve taken. It didn’t drag, nor did it fly by. It was well paced.
The hours per day and workload were perfect. Again, I only wish the course was longer.
The first two days worked brilliantly for me. As stated earlier the third day drifted a little for me and the pace of input fell away a little.
It did vary in pace throughout the 3 days but was well balanced with both intensive periods and time to reflect and digest what was being taught with a good amount of breaks for lunch for coffee/tea
The instructor delivered at a good pace, with a laid back approach, which alleviated any pressure
There were a couple of moments where I would have liked some more time receiving guidance. For instance we discussed “Patterns” and Tom asked us for examples where patterns could be used in our own work, nobody could think of anything and so we moved on. This would have been a good opportunity to explore some more examples together as a group, as I think there was a general lack of understanding of how to apply this idea. I see the benefit of jumping straight into the hands on group exercises, but I wonder if it would be worth working through a guided exercise as a whole class with Tom. Picking appropriate routines as a group and working through how we could apply the ideas as a class and Tom can give hints where appropriate. I think this would have led to deeper understanding of how to apply before beginning the tasks. However I can also see how this could potentially bias the results, and remove some of the freedom in applying the theories.
My energy ‘dipped’ in the afternoon of Day Two. Perhaps there could be more exercises and less ‘theory’ in that slot? Our group struggled to arrive on time or to start on time. I would have welcomed Tom starting the sessions at the agreed time, even if not everyone was there (I did not say this in the workshop though).
Good timing with the exercises and the teaching.
Solving assignmenttime was good, I expected more time for theory.
Very managable. Some of it was difficult but that is what stimulated creativity.
Det var jätte bra. Många utmanande och roliga uppgifter!
Reasonable but very challenging. Afterwards I felt like I had just finished an mental marathon. But I wouldn’t change anything, if anything being pushed a bit helped me think differently and it became a part of the experience.
When we both did things theoretically and practically it was a good speed. I learned a lot because of the practicality
It could’ve been more “homework” for sure.
I believe the 3 days felt short but doable, as I have also taken part in a week long course I have seen both versiond. The time flew but again I don’t think anything was rushed as we had a smaller group. There’s a lot of information to take in however what helps it is getting up on your feet immediately and trying each technique. As when you physicalise it you have a better memory of the tool you just learnt.
I was amazed that I who done magic for 30 years was equel in the group with diffrent skilled magicians it was working perfect
